Kristian Story has been making wine since 2000 under the mentorship of Napa icons such as Mark Herold (Merus, Kamen), Sarah Gott (Joseph Phelps, Quintessa) and Francois Bugue (Cain).  He is now coming into his own as a skilled, talented winemaker, making rich, structured and balanced wines with grapes from the Story Family vineyards in St. Helena, Napa Valley; grapes that have gone into such wines as Opus One, Merus, Quintessa, and  Beringer, to name a few.
