Tasting Note: Bright crimson in color, with glints of violet and rosy pink. This bottling exhibits classic cool-climate Pinot Noir aromas, with bright Bing cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate notes supported by hints of roast meat, leather and black tea. The gracious, yet coating tannins are perfectly balanced by a sour-cherry acidity and full body. Flavors include cranberries, orange spice, raspberries, beef stock and vanilla cream soda. Sweet baking spices from oak aging are well integrated and help draw out the lingering finish. The heady aroma and tightly wound tannins promise to reward over the next few years, evolving into a more earthy and spiced Pinot Noir.
